Speaking of Affordable Housing
Four members of the Arlington Green Party spoke on January 7, 2009 before the four state delegates and two state senators representing Arlington in the Virginia Assembly about priorities for the upcoming session of the Assembly.
The four members--Dana Thompson, Audrey Clements, Tom Yeager, and John Reeder--spoke about three general areas of need--affordable housing, environmental improvement needed, and social justice (a living wage, universal healthcare for all in the State, and a proressive state income tax).
